WHY FORGINGS?

Structural integrity in a forged blade is greater than achieved by any other manufacturing process

Forging metals reduces the gas pockets and/or voids that can lead to unexpected failure when the blade is under great stress or encounters sudden impact

Structural integrity inherent in the forging process creates a blade that responds predictably to its operating environment and is therefore much safer

Recrystallization and grain refinement of the metal occur in the forging process, producing a blade with maximum strength and minimum variation in blade properties
